Mountwood Park - This is one of our favorite places to ride! Mountwood Park is located 12 miles east of Parkersburg, WV, off of Route 50. Mountwood has miles of singletrack built and maintained by RVMBA. Trails at Mountwood range from beginner to expert and everything in between. Mountwood singletrack is open to hikers and bikers only. No off road vehicles, and horses have their own separate trails.
North Bend State Park - North Bend is located about 30 miles east of Parkersburg, WV, and is part of the WV State Park system. North Bend has access to the much-loved Rails-to-Trails that extend from south Parkersburg more than 70 miles east to Clarksburg, WV. North Bend also has twisty technical singletrack for the avid mountain biker. Watch out for horse poop! Some of the trails are open to horse traffic.
Wayne National Forest - "The Wayne" is located on the other side of the Ohio River and offers miles of singletrack to challenge the avid enthusiast. Many of our Ohio brethren indulge in regular rides in the Wayne National Forest. RVMBA also builds and maintains the trails here and we are so grateful for the dedicated volunteers!
